Lately I Love

1. Lately I've been inspired by a more laid back "coachella style" - probably because I'm going to my 1st music festival in May :) I'm loving Gypsy 05.

2. Spring Closet Cleanse! If I haven't worn it in a year its either being donated or added to my Poshmark closet.

3. I gave up coffee for Lent so I've been trying lots of teas! I discovered my love for Tazo Earl Grey at Starbucks, but my favorite is still a classic green tea.

4. Peonies are always SO HARD to find here. Any girls in St. Louis have any tips? I ended up buying some fake ones at Target so that will have to suffice.

5. I have the travel bug. I have two trips planned but many more floating around in my head :) #justgo

Lately I Love

I love Wildfox's Spring Lookbook inspired by Clueless. Click through it on Refinery 29. 

I constantly am pinning black on black outfits - yet I've never tried to pull it off. It's my goal before Spring. 

Definitely in need of a pair of tortoise cat eye sunglasses. Preferably Celine. 

I was sick so I took it easy this weekend. One perk of spending countless hours in bed - lots of blogging gets accomplished :)

 

I usually try to eat low carb & as healthy as possible, but I recently fell off track. What better time to start again than the beginning of a new year? My boyfriend & I are being very strict all of January. Like, no cheat meals-no alcohol-almost paleo type of strict. Frittatas (like these) are one of our favorites for breakfast. I'm sure I'll share more recipes & information in the future.

My boyfriend should be on this list every week :) and how cute are these bowls?

Lately I Love

Why did it take me so long to try washi tape? I ordered some from the PrettyTape Etsy shop & I have been using it nonstop. 

I also finally finished "growing out" my eyebrows (aka not touching them for almost 3 months...eek) so I've invested in some new products like this clear brow gel, this brow pencil, and after a recommendation from Chelsie of Mossypants - I purchased this brow kit.

Besides that, I've been shopping for tons of upcoming holiday events & I've been buying my favorite salad ingredients which WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT a good salad could change your entire day around?! -O

Lately I Love

My last Lately I Love post was extremely mellow/lazy/relaxed. But with the holiday weekend, that quickly changed! I did a little too much online shopping - a bright yellow coat & a sequin top from J. Crew were two of my favorite purchases. I started painting with acrylics, got a few of my prints for my gallery wall framed, and of course watched Home Alone :)

• Getting Organized - Been working non stop on organizing my closet this weekend - it's definitely a work in progress. More on this later...
• Comfort Food - For me, chilly weather = grilled cheese on repeat. Honey truffle recipe looks AMAZE.
• Carrie Underwood's Alice + Olivia Dress - Obviously Carrie was looking gorgeous as usual when she hosted the CMA's last Thursday. This dress was my fav! I really need it. And a budget to afford it. And somewhere to wear it ;) (source)
• Embracing Leather - Just picked up some faux leggings (BEST Forever 21 purchase to date!) and I'm on the hunt to find a new (somewhat reasonably priced) leather jacket. 
• Office Space - Today marks my move from intern to full time employee at work, so sprucing up my cubicle (and possibly setting up a home office) is definitely something I'm looking forward to :)
