This week has not been my best. A lot of recent changes in my life have proven that I'm not as strong as I thought; I need to challenge myself to have more patience, confidence, strength, and gratitude. And of course, staying positive is key.
When things aren't going great, I like to treat myself to something pretty. Healthy or not, opening a pretty package (or 2) after work is my happy place. The question is not which item above to buy - but rather what order to buy them in ;) Ok fine, I already bought the dress, the espadrilles, and maybe a new clutch. Whoops! You know what they say, "when it rains it pours packages..." Totally made that up.
(speaking of something pretty - have you entered last week's giveaway? would love you forever if you did! xo)
I love the clean palate you're working with here–everything is gorgeous! Thinking of you–you ARE stronger than you think! xo
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI find that shopping always helps me when I'm going through a rough patch too!
ReplyDeleteIt really is therapeutic!
DeleteI LOVE those espadrilles! And I often go thrifting when I am down... it helps me get that retail therapy in without breaking the bank! But yes, I do love shopping! Hope things are looking up for you! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha I definitely need to start thrifting! My bank account is hating me right now. Thank you :)
DeleteRetail therapy is the best kind of therapy :) Love that watch!

Thank you, you too! xo
DeleteRetail therapy is certainly a weakness of mine!
ReplyDeleteGirl-I need some serious retail therapy. I've been eyeing that bracelet for a week now! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteI'm dying for it! Wish it was like...a small fraction of the price haha.
DeleteCouldn't agree more with "When it rains, it pours packages." Just as long as you're not going for broke, a little retail therapy does ones soul (and maybe sole too) good. Hope you have a better end of the week, and don't forget, you are a lot stronger than you may give yourself credit for. xx

I am into retail therapy as well - it really does help to treat yourself to a little something every once and a while! The espedrilles were a good choice and hope things get better soon:)
