Gold, Bamboo, and a Bedroom

I stumbled across this post on Recently (one of my favorite blogs) a few weeks ago and instantly loved everything, but mainly the DIY spray pant coffee table. So much so that I started obsessively checking Craiglist ads for something similar.

You guys, I live with my parents. My bedroom is already overflowing with the ridiculous amount of stuff I collected while away at college. Where the h-e-doublehockeysticks would I put a bamboo coffee table? I don't know. But I stumbled across the PERFECT table. 10 minutes from my house. Somewhat reasonable price. I hesitated and it sold. Totally would have been a ridiculous purchase, I know! But still...

Can I move out yet?

  1. Haha you should have bought it! Honestly, I was stockpiling things for almost six months, knowing eventually I'd move out and get to use them. When you find the right piece, go for it!

  2. I live with my parents, too! It's so hard to decorate and make fun DIY projects when you have no room!

  3. I say still keep your eyes peeled for a table and clear space somewhere in the house? That table is all you're going to be thinking about!

  4. I want to move out as well but the chances of that happening anytime soon is very low. I always get so inspired when I see amazing DIY interior decorations and what not.

  5. I have the same problem and I have my own home. I want too many pretty things and don't have enough rooms for them all. My poor basement looks like a warehouse. I need to work up the courage to sell some stuff on craig's list!
