Monday Motivation

If you are anything like me...working out & eating right on the weekends doesn't always go as planned (Yes, THIS happened Saturday night). I try not to stress myself out about it, rather I make it my goal to follow a healthy regime starting every Monday. Below is an amazing 8 minute ab workout courtesy of Brooke Burke/Modern Mom. I've been doing this ab routine for about 3 years & it really works if you stick to it (and add a healthy mix of cardio + strength training).

If you don't feel like watching, here's the gist:
20 regular crunches
20 bicycle crunches
20 crunches with legs extended vertically
20 crunches with knees dropped to the right
20 crunches with knees dropped to the left
20 crunches pulling your right leg vertically while lowering your left & vise versa.
Repeat 3 times & your done! Only takes 8 minutes so we have no excuses :) -O

  2. 8 minute abs...love this! Written out it looks almost unbearable but you're right, I'm sure I can whiz through this in less time than it takes me to eat a bag of chips! Must.resist.temptation!

Would love to get your thoughts on my most recent hotel renovation when you get a chance! Hope to see you soon!

  4. I'm a bit late in popping over but thanks for visiting my blog! I don't know what you were eating but with that much chocolate on it, it's bound to be good. :)

I think this video doesn't sound so bad in writing but doing that for 8 minutes seems like a long time. I've been wanting to try something by Brooke Burke so this might be just the thing. I've been doing some of the Pop Pilates videos on YouTube lately.
